This has become our favorite Tex Mex for this area since it has changed over & we just love the place. My husband usually has fajitas or carne asada and I often get one of the shrimp dishes - the camaron plancha or Carmarones especiales are favorites and I LOVE them both. I like the variety of options on the menu. The restaurant and even the restrooms are clean. The women & young men who keep the water , chips, and salsa filled are constantly at the table making sure you have what you need, and when they are not actually busy they are standing in the corner watching the tables. Erik the manager works very hard, almost always waiting on tables as well as making sure everything is going great. You are treated as treasured customers with the crew always checking on the table, making sure everything came out right and tastes good. They even helped me with my broken Spanish as I tried out a few words. I noticed that a lot of customers seem to know and like Erik and the waiters and love to visit with them. I saw some other reviews that were less than flattering about the chips & salsa but that has not been our experience. I find the salsa a bit spicy actually. Not hot enough to hurt ya, but just so you know its there. Also thick and chunky, not runny. I also like the jalapeno slices with onions that come with the queso. Some of our other favorites are the chunky guacamole, Mariachi Street Tacos, and spinach & shrimp enchiladas.
