Dear all, Our first visit to Tarragona and in a local restaurant here. Now i know why this restaurant indeed is one of the best rated 🙏🏻😀. The really cosy and roman style walls restaurant fits this old town. We started with croquettes and salad with burrata as a starter together with local Red Sangria 🥳 and then grilled cod fish and for me Red Tuna.. fabulous main courses 🙏🏻♥️. Then don't forget to ask for the deserts 🍰.. and the famous Chartreuse liqueur, made from 130 different herbs, 55% alcohol which perfectly digests all this nice food. It was a great pleasure to get to know the owners Ivona and Eloie. Very good restaurant in Tarragona. The. Burgers were very good in quality. We shared coquetas and grilled vegetables, they were truly excellent. The ambiance of the place was cozy and making a reservation is recommended, we had luck that they could squeeze us in. The food is of high quality without making it inaccessible and the prices are good value. Staff is informal and very friendly. Definite recommendation! A very cosy place in the heart of Tarragona. The choice of burgers is really spectacular, my favourite was one with mango slices, named Bangkok, it was just the best. The service was very good too. We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. First we met the waitress who turned out to be the owner of this place! She was so friendly to us. We had a great chat. I had coffee and as a main dish we tried grilled monk fish with romanesco sauce which is traditional in this area. It was the first time I tried this fish and it was soooo tasty! Same for the sauce. The portion of the food was appropriate, not too much nor too little. But then as a dessert we tried "crema de catalana" which is a traditional dessert here. And let me tell you - it was heavenly good!!! Very nice place to have dinner outside. The friendly waiter speaks different languages (including ours: Dutch), so it was easier to talk. They really make you feel welcome. I ate here 3 times during my stay in Tarragona. Dishes are beautiful, tasteful and well prepared and presented. Burgers are a specialty: each one with an special touch and a twist. Good wine selection and by the glass. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30

Quirky restaurant in a very old building, with portraits of philosophers round the walls. Outstandingly good food, and a really interesting wine list. Our table was next to the lavatory, and I recommend that they get a spring attachment to the door. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever. Really outstanding. We stumbled upon this place and had to go back a second day because the food was just THAT good. I recommend calling to reserve a table as it is a small place that has many people seeking a spot for dinner. The cheese salad with apple vinaigrette was the best salad I’ve ever had. The sauces that accompanied the Norwegian salmon and the steak were out of this world. Oh and don’t forget to ask for the white pudding for dessert! There are so many flavors involved in such a light treat. You’ll love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. If you ever find yourself in Tarragona I highly recommend it!
