The Traditional
I absolutely love the FW menu choices, and most of the time, the service is outstanding (at different locations). Unfortunately, on our 1st visit to our local First Watch, our waitperson may have been having a not so good day, and clearly, a simple question was a trigger for her. My order of the elevated egg sandwich was brought out with tepid or less than room temperature and BURNT potatoes, so while I was surprised and disappointed, I simply moved the burnt ones to the side to enjoy the rest of my meal. When the person decided to come back by the table to check on us, I asked her if she would eat them had they been brought to her. Her response was, "If you want free potatoes, just say that." I have NEVER been so offended!! I was not loud or belligerent towards her, and to get that response was appalling and concerning, to be honest. How many OTHER customers have she treated this way? The waitperson went to inform the manager of the issue herself, and he was very professional and deescalated the situation as a leader should by offering an apology, which was accepted, along with replacing the potatoes. I informed him that while I appreciate the replacement, they weren't necessary, and a simple acknowledgment would have resolved it from his waitperson. Hopefully, the waitperson learned something and will do better, but I'd rather travel 25 miles to a different location where I'm sure the service is consistently excellent.

Nilah was an excellent server, the blackberry lemon French toast was the best thing ever! Great experience today even the wait went quickly, you could see them all hustle with smiles!

This place is so racist, someone told me before but I didn’t pay attention. The 3 last times I was settled next to the bathrooms or in the crystal room (no white people in those tables).
I saw all the white people with the better tables. Is so sad see those stupid things happening in this times. I’ll never come back.
