The place stunk..... like homeless ppl ... it had this odd smell like.... I'm from nyc right and when you enter the subway underground you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long..... that's what it smelled like nyc subway lol..... if you've never been to nyc and have always wanted to experience the subway system there.... come to this golden corral at least you'll know what it smells like. Food was ok.... did lol messy tho around the buffet. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Not everyone eats undercooked meat I can never get a piece of well done steak. The baked potatoes are cold and won't melt the butter and the fried chicken is full of pin feathers. Just Wow . I'm a very big fan of Golden Corral. I stop here regularly on my trip to and from Florida. The only saving grace is the man who took my plates . Who was very respectful, And on top of things . The restaurant itself is filthy. Food slopped all over the place . With the exception of the dessert bar that was clean and well maintained. The man cooking steaks is horrible. You tell Jim what you want and he just throws whatever on your plate . I probably don't speak his language. The chicken I decided after 2 rds of fatty cold steak was enough I had to throw away . Under cooked, the salad bar had a mixture of multiple pieces of other food in them. This person needs to go . I walked away from that mess . No cheddar sauce. And the creamed spinach I guess they spilled the salt in and that got thrown away . The men's bathroom is also not maintained and dirty . Employee,s standing around talking with each other. When it's plan to see work needs done . Plus this was around 5 pm and the place was practically empty. No excuse for this . Also I'm handicapped and have no left fingers on my hand and they got rid of the trays . I'm trying to pay and juggle a soda with no place to set it down. I will be notifying corporate over the handy cap issue. I honestly can't believe I'm ripping this place up . So almost 40 bucks for a soda , Some cookies and a piece of pie . It is looks great on the plate. But it wasn't . This is a follow up . That night both me and my wife got sick . Don't eat the chicken. And there was drug dealing in the parking lot . Right next to my car out front. I have never had a bad experience at any Golden Corral anywhere. I will be sending a complaint to corporate. Don't come here

We'll the Bread Pudding was SOURED!!!Icalled over the waitress and she smelled it and immediately got the Manager to change it out. Smh..the food was not as good as I was expecting (I had been to 3 golden corral in other states) I was just dissatisfied I should have asked for my money back...the food was not even seasoned...smh. I love salads. One of the main reasons I like coming to Golden Corral is for the salad bar…. But here lately the salad bar has not been up to par. I was very disappointed to see the unsanitary conditions that the salad bar is currently under……. Unless new management takes over, I will not be back after seeing a plastic glove in the actual salad bar…. That’s so unsanitary

The food here is great tasting. A southern classic, golden corral is a good choice to eat at if you're near Lumberton,NC. I even think Golden Corral was founded in Fayetteville so the company is at home locally. About the service....I had to wait 2+ hours for my uber eats order because a driver took my order and drove off with it. I tipped my new driver extra anyway because they had to wait for the restaurant to make me another order. I probably will not order from here on a delivery app again for a while. Good food tho. Good fried chicken and the fish is good and hot but some of the food isn’t hot enough like the Nacho meat sauce was more like room temperature. Sweet tea was pretty good. Excellent service by our waiter Josh. He was very attentive.

My family and I were on our way back from Georgia and we decided to stop here. Well big mistake. This is the worst Golden Corral I have ever been to. Everything that any of us got off the bar was cold. The only thing I got that was hot was my little bit of steak (because it came right off the grill). The soups were dried up and stayed that way for the remaining time we were in the restaurant. My parents got a baked potato and when they went to put butter on it the butter wouldn’t melt. Got ready to leave and went to the restroom and wash my hands.. I looked in the sink and mold is growing in the sink. I first thought that it was just some old stuff, well I took a paper towel just to see and wiped up mold. We spoke with the manager and we’ll that’s a really didn’t care.
