They cheat! I got two small apples. The cashier pushed the scale down with her hand so the weight was much higher. I said very nicely that two small apples may not be 3 lbs. She insisted and i had to pay. I reweighed later and found out she charged me more than three times the weight. I am a trucker, I drive through here every other day. I like to support local businesses but I will never buy anything here again.

One of the most tasty meals I ever had in a gasoline station. And shop is well stocked considering the place is in the middle of nowhere.

Best place to get gas in the area and best place to get food products. Small town and small area not a lot of places to get things

Good choice in the middle of nowhere. This is not just a grocery store. It is "a little of everything" place for a small in the middle of the Nevada desert. We stayed the night at the RV Park, and thought there was a Mexican restaurant as stated on the website. NO MEXICAN RESTAURANT =) Great Basin Foods is a good choice for a burger and a couple other deli/grill items. It's much better than it sounds. The burger was 100% ground beef, and fresh-not frozen. The peop[le were incredibly friendly, and for being a small town, we actually had a fun time and good food. Thank you GBF for providing a much needed service.
