Surprised at how well this compares to big city Chinese Food. Not as much foot traffic, so the time the cook has to make it perfect is plenty (making it better than big city Chinese buffet anyday). As a Chinese graduate student from Hunan, I strongly recommend this place. We ordered all dishes on their special dishes menu and we literally finished all of the food. Tbh, the food is not exactly cooked the same way as Hunan. But I would say it’s a great and delicious Chinese fusion food. The Braised pork belly with eggs is my favorite. Pretty disappointed. I called and ordered takeout for an easy meal with young kids. I was quoted “thirty something” over the phone but my husband was charged $49.65 for basically enough food to barely feed one adult and two young kids. The kung pao tofu was surprisingly bland with a watery sauce, a very small portion of fried rice, and they messed up one of the orders. I called the restaurant and they were very friendly but firm about not offering to make the situation right. Service Take out
