I was in really early in the morning after being in the bar with a friend, and we sat in the middle to SEE kitchen. The manager, I assume. Obviously young and inexperienced had caused their cook to walk outside and slow down the cook line. Our food was luke warm and our server apologized multiple times and did inform us the food line had slowed, but the Manager not once was worried about how the food was temperature wise. I would highly recommend firing her. She was absolutely a mess and could obviously be seen as disrespectful to the customers health. I will not be returning if she is still a manager at this or any other establishment. I have never once in my life loved a waiter more than I did here. He was so friendly and kind and so patient. Even after a long day at work he gave myself and my fiance the time of day to actually take care and serve us. Definitely recommend. I even asked what hours and days he works just to request him as my server from now on! The restaurant wasn’t crowded or busy at all. However the service was very slow. My food had to be ordered twice. Somehow my waiter didn’t put in my order and after waiting for about 20 minutes or so I was asked what did order initially so they can put in my order. Overall the food was good. The young man took our order. Never came back until it was brought to the table. As well all 3 of the BLT 55 and over was not the price on the menu and most of our bacon(all 6)was burnt....however we had just lost a Family member and I didn't have the ump to even ask for anything to be fixed. This was such a surprise! I had better customer service at IHOP than I have had in Lawton! Blake, our server, was so friendly and kept up with our table amazingly! The food was IHOP food so it was decent, but the service made the food more delicious! Thank you, Blake, for taking the time to make myself and my family happy. What a nice surprise this IHOP was! Busy in the breakfast-rush but we were greeted, seated & served immediately. Food came out lightning quick! Clean & mostly updated decor and very good food: a huge omelet (but my hubby asked for no onions & somebody forgot)- just-right crispy bacon, and my Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Crepes were actually very good (less ricotta, more blueberries please!)
