Beautifull view on Denube and Djerdapska klisura. Fresh air on the heal. Lovely place where you will back to Yugoslavia time. Excellent place for spend some time.

Kapetan Mishin place has great location and at first you will be greeted with a smile from Zhika and his wife and Srdjan...but that smile will cost you..
they make there own prices on food as you enter the premises we had lunch for 3 ( me wife and 11year old daughter) asked to see menu none was provided and they had ( buffet table) swedish table so called...was tasty but owners are one standing behind table and placing food on your plate deciding what you should have

53$ meal for 2 adults and 11 year old , then we asked for a room to spend the night which was a great deal at 2400 din per person 22$ including a breakfast ( they was a great deal compared to lunch price alone ...so we agreed got in the room to relax as we were on a trip to Greece next day ..short lived "LOL" around 15.30h they started doing some maintenance work with concrete mixer under our window...yes No joke concrete mixer I was so confused had my wife asking can they please turn it of so we can relax..( bare foot owner said :NO we can't stop) and also we start in the morning again around 7am...LOL 😭 we said BYE BYE AND LEFT THE PLACE immediately !
This was OUR EXPERIENCE not saying you will have the same one BUT ASK BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN TO EAT or drink how much will it cost as they make the price as they wish or by your ( look-language ) and NO RECEIPT !

Completely unprofessional and i have never seen such impolite hosts in my life ever. The lady who is an owner is extremely rude person and i really do not know, how is possible to do this job!?!?
The food is average and around you can find much better places for REAL and traditional serbian dishes! I could agree about location and position of the place, it is amazing but everything else is horrible! I have listened half an hour how the owner literally screamed to the people outside and argued with them! Literally i run away from this place!
This is a family owned business and I was taken here as part of the Eastern Serbia Day Tour. The owners are an energetic elderly couple, where the husband walks barefoot everywhere to be more connected with nature. Meals are home cooked and very fresh. The sauces and spices are very mild but delicious. The owner does not like it if you call their place a restaurant. The property is their house with some rooms being rented and they will cook for the guests upon request (buffet style). They served Rakija with honey, it's strong but tasty. Give it a try if you're visiting Eastern Serbia. All the travel agencies and tour guides are familiar with this place. The property is on a mountain top with a breathtaking view of the Danube River below. It's lunch to remember, for sure.

This is NOT a hotel or even B&B with restaurant at best a home stay where we are expected to follow the convenience of the hosts. ||||Between 10 and 6 all staff serve the succession of tour groups. No service is available for staying guests. This was not clearly explained beforehand. We were told ‘all welcome’.||||We arrived at 14.30. Plenty of buffet food out for a succession of prebooked parties. The group running the kompleks showed us our room (Bathroom smelly and tiny). But would/could not allow us to eat or even provide coffee as busy serving the many groups. No where for guests staying to sit, other than grass or finding a table amongst many rotating groups. / all tables had reserved notes on.||||We were expected to wait until 6pm for leftovers + some freshly cooked veg (if it had run out). We declined and eventually were reluctantly (with ongoing Serbian complaints) allowed to take some leftovers at around 4.45pm. In the morning asked for milk to drink / put on cereal instead of coffee at breakfast and was told none available.||||No allowance made for vegetarians at breakfast or dinner you get what’s offered.||||If promoted as a home stay perhaps acceptable, the view is great. Go for a lunch (as long as pre booked) but don’t go independently and expect service.
The place does not have what you would call a classic restaurant. There is no menu you can order food from, they have this one list with one type chicken broth, one type sausages, chicken, some basic salads and one type dessert cookie that they serve to everyone because I assume it is easier for them to prepare and heat and reheat food as guests announce arrival. They get extremely rude and even yell at you if you don't eat everything in the order they imagined and planned. If you have dietary restrictions of any kind, there is no use even coming here. I got yelled at for wanting to skip the chicken broth because I don't eat meat and just go straight for a salad. I had to sit hungry and wait for everyone to finish their broths before I could start eating. You are also not allowed to take a clean plate and put that one kind dessert cookie on it to eat it, but the guests take cookies from this communal bowl with their hands and then eat them over paper napkins. They ran out of bottled water while we were there, in the mid of hot June day, 32C. The place is a classic tourist trap with no legitimate concept behind all the ethnic insignia just piled there to look attractive and ethnic to tourists who know nothing about local history or culture. The only great thing about this place is its location and the beautiful view of the Danube.
We spent a night there in May. The yard is really beautiful, full of trees and flowers and the view on the river is perfect. The owners are very friendly people. We paid 23 euros for the half board. The food was homemade and delicious. We got the rooms in the house at the end of the yard, which were comfortable but not really spotless clean. There is a parking lot on the property and the gate is closed at night.
