Went to KC’s Rib Shack in Manchester, NH for a lunch with my son . We got the QQ PLADDA FOR 2 OR MORE Feeds 2-3 people, ribs, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, 2 sides and cornbread. There was plenty of food for 2 and I took enough home for at least another meal ! The ribs were very large and good , meaty and flavorful. The pulled pork was very good . Sausage was good but a little small in size but nice smoky flavor . Chicken wax excellent, big and tasty ! We were both surprised at the brisket as it was very thinly cut and not really moist or with a little fat to add some flavor as that is where the flavor is , the fat! It did have a good smoke ring on it though ! The onion rings were excellent , juicy and tasty and the dipping sauce was equally tasty ! Homemade beans were very tasty and yummy! Service was good and very friendly . Ambiance was definitely a key in looking for a great barbecue place ! Nice selection of drinks and beers and very good prices on them ! I had a 34 ounce Battle Axe IPA which was delish ! All in all , We would definitely go back to KC’s Rib Shack as it is a one of the better barbecue places on my traveling food fest !!! The Best BBQ place I have ever ate at! The ribs need no sauce but if coarse I had to try out 3 different kind, all were good! The collards reminded me of being in the south (delicious) and the hush puppies were so good! A must stop in and try! Friendly fun staff as well! KC’s makes some of the best BBQ in New England. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is appropriate for a BBQ rib shack. I’ve been at least 10-15 times over the last few years and the food is always flavorful, fresh and prepared with care. I’ve tried numerous dishes and sides and would recommend them all. The chicken wings are enormous, cooked perfectly and sauced to perfection. Very large portion too. The 2 meat platter is my go to: I usually get ribs and brisket, but the chicken, bbq sausage and all of the other choices won’t do you wrong. The cocktails are great, especially the Painkiller. There is usually a wait and it is usually busy which is a good reflection of a quality food establishment with a loyal following of customers. The service is friendly and efficient. The portions are generous and the prices are extremely reasonable for BBQ which is usually fairly pricey (for good reason). Try KC’s out, if you like delicious BBQ and drinks, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully a lot more in the near future. nice establishment, delicious food. We reserved a table in advance, but when we arrived on time, we had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes... not a serious approach! and the children had no entertainment, not even pencils were given.
