Great place!! Nice and clean inside. Sushi was excellent!! My brother and I were quite impressed. We had the $25 per person all you can eat sushi. We ordered 44 pieces and 2 plates of white rice on the side and 2 waters to drink. This included 4pc shrimp nigiri (top right) 4pc yellowtail nigiri ( bottom right). 6pc Philadelphia roll (bottom center) 6pc California roll (bottom left). 16pc Rainbow roll (full middle row) And 8pc Tempura Volcano roll.(top row above Rainbow) Never seen Volcano done in tempura but it was the best of the plate I think and I love Nigiri. That's saying something! Wasabi was good not overly hot, about "normal". Dry, not as creamy as some places. Actually, we should have asked for more. We debated on another Tempura but decided it's pushing our luck. Absolutely give it a try!! Just know that every piece you don't eat costs $1 each to take home. There was a large menu to order from. Apologies, I should have taken pics of those. But I was ready to EAT! Total Bill was $57.57 I'd be very surprised if you didn't enjoy every bite. We’ve come to Kochi many times and have very rarely had a positive experience with the servers. Tonight takes the cake though. We were shown to our table and then left alone for 10 minutes ( Alright, no biggie.) Then when our “server” came up to us, there was no greeting just “Are you done?” as she gestured to our all you can eat menu. Mind you, we haven’t even been asked about drinks. She then takes the menu and goes to walk away and I have to ask after her for our drinks. We get our food, which was alright, and then both servers proceed to go to every other table but ours repeatedly. Finally after trying to get our servers’ attention multiple times, I ask the other server for our bill and THEN our server shows up asking if we want another menu, water, xyz. It would’ve been nice to have had that DURING our meal. Both girls seemed more concerned with getting to talk behind the counter than doing their actual job. This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues with the servers not doing their jobs. After how rude they were this time around, I’m not sure we’ll be back. Great place for All you can eat Sushi! We ordered 5 rolls out of which Godzilla roll, dragon roll were the best.

I feel like this is one of the underrated restaurants in town, I personally really like food here. Good number of variety in appetizer and sushi rolls. I really like their chicken dumplings. I have been to this place many time. Staff is also friendly. Overall really good experience Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Great place to go if you like sushi and know you're able to eat a lot. Because this place follows an "All you can eat" format, they tend to skip out a little bit on the serving sizes. For example, the size of the cut fish for the Nigiri is quite thin. Be warned that there is a charge if you don't finish all of the food you ordered. Love this place. Some of the better Sushi in Bloomington at a super reasonable price. Sure you get charged more on the all you an eat for what you don't finish, but you can order additional items at no cost so just order what you can handle and get more if you're still hungry. I always have high hopes for Kochi and get let down. We've gone 3 times always getting the unlimited menu. Their dumplings and yakisoba get higher ratings for me than their sushi. The rolls are just lacking all around. Lacking flavor, texture, variety. Everything was DRY. Like, "make you cough" dry. As for the service, I absolutely understand how being busy and short staffed can affect things but that doesn't give you a pass to supply bad service. As soon as we walked in the door we were literally herded like cattle into a line to wait for a table. While we were being seated we were asked for drink orders before getting to our table or having seen a menu. During our time there we had four different servers, all of them very flustered. While eating our dry sushi rolls we ordered spring rolls and yaki udon which straight up never came. I finally asked for the check and thankfully was paying with cash because they literally never came back to our table. But one plate made for an ok photo... Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
