This bar and Dupont Circle can be both really attractive for tourists. Make a change from your traditional meal and order perfectly cooked cheeseburgers, steak & eggs and fish tacos at KRAMERS. Try good egg waffles, French toasts and pancakes. The wine list is versatile, every guest will find something that satisfies their taste. It is cool to enjoy great espresso, tea or lemonade. The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is professional. If you want to experience nice service, you should go to this spot. Prices are found adequate here. There is a pretty ambiance and spectacular decor at this bar. Google users awarded KRAMERS 4.5.

I went here on a Sunday brunch. We softly reserved the table by calling an hour before. No problem with seating when we came around 12:30. I had the chicken waffle - very good and full haha. It's very crowded so the server wasn't able to take care of customers well. Great vibe for a Sunday morning.

Great food, but it is a little on the expensive side. Portions are decent. Omelets are delicious, and so is the steak and frites. The pot of tea, which you can get for $3, is nice to have, and a great way to relax after work or in between classes. Kramers also has an eclectic collection of books, and I've heard that sometimes they even hide cocktail coupons in some of the books about DC cocktails. I love coming here in between classes.

I went to Kramers last week and I absolutely loved it. The staff were all super nice, they had a massive selection of books, and the added bonus of a cafe and bar took it over the top for me. I’d definitely come back!

Have taken several international groups here in the past, and Kramers is always a hit. The menu is a bit small, but that can also be useful with larger groups. Food is excellent, nice beer selection, and staff are always nice as well. The chance to go peruse books while you're waiting for food is also nice as well. Highly recommend the patio out back when the weather is nice. Am planning on making a late night visit sometime as well.

Everything you could ever want from a bookstore and MORE ! Great selection of books, I loved that they had a staff recommendations section. Then out of nowhere they also had a café that smelled out of this world. I need to come back here and spend more time (and money) here. It had a great crowd too, you can tell how popular this place still is.

We received a very great service! For our surprise the server speak Spanish and is more comfortable for us. 😊 The food is very tasty and the mimosas too, very cold. Highly recommended. 👌 The atmosphere is very nice. Besides being a bookstore.

Great bookstore. It’s not large, but they have all the bestsellers and trendy books as well as a nice selection of classics/cult books in every genre. Layout makes it easy to search for a particular book or to just browse. There’s also a coffee shop and a cafe in the back.

The food and staff here are amazing! Emily was my waitress tonight and did an amazing job making me feel special on my birthday. She got me a candle and said happy birthday, it was simple and perfect. The food, drink and dessert was incredible. I would have loved more sauce but other than that the bookstore/eatery combo is brilliant.

Kramers is such a lovely bookstore! There are truly so many books, as well as other items book lovers will enjoy (think tote bags, magnets, etc.). The vibe is amazing, and there are plenty of people — it’s a lively place!
