This is my family’s all time favorite Mexican place. We live downtown now but still drive out to get it occasionally. They have the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had, and the shrimp empanadas are fantastic. The most recent time my mom and I came in, they were about to close but they seated us and accommodated our very large order anyway. They’re the best! A 10/10, have been coming for many years and never disappointing. My personal favorite will always be los chilaquiles al albañil with either steak or chicken. This is the only place I will drink a michelada! Their micheladas corrales is a chefs kiss. I hate the tomato portion of the michelada but this place will offer you orange juice instead. The service is always on point and very nice. For sure one of my favorite go to. We went there last minute for after a funeral. There were about 20 of us. They accommodated is quickly and took care of us like no where else. The service was great, they got our orders done right for a big group. And the food was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and try their other food. Food is like it came out of mi abuelas kitchen. Service is never too late, never rushing you neither. The atmosphere depends. Come on a Tuesday morning is dead. Come on a Saturday or Sunday you got mariachi taking a request per table. Drinks are potent!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were seated pretty quick but we did go an hour before closing so our order was taken quickly and with just a little time our food was brought to us. I had the fried fish it did not disappoint. Nice and crunchy, tasty meat that slipped right off the bone. The shrimp I didn't order with it was added which was nice. The white rice and the shrimp added a delicious flavor. The other dishes looked and tasted very good. I'm not a fan of can soda drinks but that's what they have. No raspberry iced tea. The milkshake drink has a smooth taste to it, if u get a chance try one. I would go back to try more things. I should have just walked out when the smell of a humid abandoned basement hit me. The taco was greasy. The chicken dish I got was bland. The rice and beans were not good. The chips and salsa were good but greasy

The food is delicious - the shrimp and octopus cooked to perfection smothered in a delicious spicy sauce that's the right amount of kick. The salsa for the chips it's a bit watery but the flavor is all at the bottom of the bowl with the pulp of the tomato and peppers. Don Julio Cantarito Deluxe is 32 ounces of excellence. Only disappointment is they were out of the mint for a coconut mojito. I was looking forward to trying theirs. The small order of our meal came with generous slices of buttered 🥖. Though it’s their “small” order it was plenty filling for two. The restaurant isn’t too big but they do have both booth and table seating. No wait time for a Thursday evening dinner. Ordered a small order of Chapuzon Del Mar Octopus and shrimp in hot sauce. Level of spice 3/5

We loved it so much I'm back again. Great food and good service. The atmosphere is welcoming and very comfortable. They also have what I like to think is a full service bar. We all tried a different plate.
