Come here for a meal right after seeing The American Toby Jug Museum. Order nicely cooked pumpkin soup, glazed bacon and chicken pies. The cooks here prepare good banana pancakes, French toasts and key lime pie. You will hardly forget delicious draft beer, wine or cider that you can degust. Get your meal started with great latte, tea or lemonade. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. A number of visitors consider the staff nice. People mention that the service is terrific here. Attractive prices are to be expected at this restaurant. The spectacular decor and quiet atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. 4.5 is what Lucky Platter received from the Google rating system.

My husband and I have been stopping here for years whenever we made our drive in to visit Vogue Fabrics in Main. We have never been disappointed. Love the eclectic art and atmosphere. And the food is fresh and very good. Vogue Fabrics has since moved to warehouse location but son and his wife have moved into Evanston. So now this is our place to eat whenever we visit. I've been going here for over 20 years and I still love it. I have introduced friends and family to this restaurant and everyone enjoys it.

Unfortunately server, guy with glasses, is rude and made me uncomfortable. Was ordering my food and got cut off very rudely while I was talking to him about my order. Not a pleasant experience at all very cold and rude. Won’t be coming back Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Poor service started the moment I walked in. I asked for a table for two, indicating that I was meeting a friend who was not there yet and was denied a table. I was asked to wait until my friend arrived to be seated. The restaurant was not packed, plenty of tables available. When my friend arrived 5 minutes later, we were seated at a tiny booth by the bathroom. We decided that since the place was quite empty, we would move and did so asking a server if it was ok to do so. He said sure. A few minutes later a server came to us and said we could sit there, but we needed to be finished by 10AM because the section was reserved for a large party. He told us that gave us 50 minutes to eat. We offered to move again but he said no, 50 minutes was plenty of time. ??? So we ate, and we watched as 10AM approached. And then we went past our deadline.... and no large party ever materialized. Server tried to rush us off by giving us the check, but we were hot by then and wouldn't budge. I can't even rate the food because I felt the need to fast shovel it in my mouth before I could even appreciate it. No tips from us. If you want repeat customers, don't treat them like garbage. We are local gals, and you can bet we will not be back, and we will direct our friends and visitors elsewhere. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
