Lucky's steal house is an enjoyable restaurant! I love the food first and foremost. They got my order right. The food is fresh from the kitchen and delicious from the bread appetizer to dessert! The wait staff is friendly and very competent. The restaurant has plenty of space for groups and intimate booths and nooks. Lucky's is usually busy, so plan to arrive early or make sure you allow plenty of time. I will note that I have been back to Lucky's twice since my original post. Both times I ordered the 16 oz. T-bone steak. It was my luck that both steaks were tough. They tasted awesome but were a challenge to cut and chew. That won't keep me from going back! No sir! I'll just order a different cut!!! We went to luckys for a birthday celebration and after being told it would be a 45 minute wait we waited more than an hour and a half and were never seated. When we asked the hostess she claimed that phone heads would get priority seating even if they called after we had arrived and did not have their whole group. No one approached us to give an updated wait or why several large groups who arrived after us were seated when we were st the top of the list they had texted us. Been going here since opened. Always a go to for birthdays, anniversary, family events or if just want a good steak. Best Caesar salad and French onion soup. Although lately french onion tastes like they're making it with chicken stock.. why change recipe when it's been so outstanding for decades!?!!? I take a group of 25+ a couple times a year for a company lunch for several years now. We chose Lucky's because the food is outstanding. Group service is an opportunity for them, Was told that anyone arriving 15 minutes after the reservation time would have to sit at their own table (not with the group), have their own server, and one their own bill. Each time we go I arrive early and request to pre order appetizers so they are ready when we are seated but for some reason this never happens. One server for 25+ guests is not sufficient. It takes about 45 minutes just to get drinks then we are allowed to order the appetizers which do not arrive until after we have been seated for an hour. The food is why we keep coming back. Everything is great but the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer is everyones favorite. With the large group some people are finished eating before the entire group is served and the French Onion soup (which is awesome) didn't come until we were leaving and was put in to go containers. Again the food is great, The restaurant is clean with nice decor, I still recommend Lucky's they just need to work one group service. We came in last week for our anniversary. The food was delicious, and the huge portions meant we had leftovers the following day! Our waitress was attentive and funny, and she did a great job on what was clearly a busy night. I had the Crispy Chicken Mac and Cheese and a Caesar salad, and my husband had Ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and a house salad. The environment was lovely, but especially with the holiday decor.
