Awesome all around, felt a little bad because we didn't know if we were supposed to leave our plates when finished, we did, just felt wrong. If it was I'm sorry to whoever had to clean up after us. Looking for a place with gluten free items can be hard in town but this restaurant makes it easy. The staff is helpful and quick to greet you. The dine in option is always an easy choice since the tables and booths are always clean. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Did I dine in on Wednesday and carry out on Thursday? Why, yes I did! 😀 McAllister’s is one of my favorite “fast food” restaurants. It’s always clean and staff are kind and professional. I’m picky, and this is one place that allows me to leave off the cheese or add on other items, consistently getting my order right. Their sweet tea is the best ever. I have to limit myself, or I’d be drinking it all day every day! Insider tip: Use their app to earn free items. If you’re picky like me, just keep scrolling down the page on your cell phone until the customize option shows up. It’s certainly not the first thing they show you, but it works! I’ve never used delivery, but I can use my app to order for pick up or order table-side and they serve it to me. McAlister's Deli was awesome!! We've wanted to try it for some time. Today we couldn't get out of the car so we ordered online. The food was delicious. I had the Reuben and broccoli cheese soup. My daughter has the roast beef, cheddar and horseradish with nachos. We both had tea which was also very good. The price was reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures!!! I would highly recommend this Deli. Can't wait to go back!!! My husband and both ordered the potatoe option. Both were cold and the potatoes were not fresh or fluffy. One had cheese on the top that I peeled off. We have never had bad food there before but this time it was. We did not complain because we were afraid it would not be better. Our total bill was $45.68. In the future when in Jacksonville, we will eat somewhere else. That was an expensive meal to not be fit to eat. As soon as I walked in, the place was almost empty. Not surprised, as it was a week night, plus they're not your typical fast food joint. The lobby is always clean, spacious with plenty of seating space (both low and high tables) and some really neat wall decor, as well as warm, cozy lighting. The menu has a lot to offer, from soups and sandwiches to desserts and kids options. There is plenty to choose from, even for the pickiest of eaters in your family.
