Appreciate the food, It was fantastic! There wasn't anything that we disliked. The Blood Orange Mule was weak. It tasted like watered down orange soda. The server was very attentive and we were very happy with the service. The atmosphere is really nice as well. Our only issue was that when seated by the doors, every time someone goes in or out, the door slams loudly. I'll go back, but I'll never allow myself to be seated by the doors again. Also, there's an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill. I was okay with it because our server was fantastic. But if she sucked I would've been very upset and demanded to have the gratuity removed from the bill.

Unique dining experience in Marion.
We read mixed reviews but decided to try it anyway.
We were not disappointed, for those that want to experience hot pot they have a nice variety of soup choices and ingredients that you may not expect to find.
The service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun and decorated well. We were there in the middle of the week (wed) so they were not very busy.
***Note: when you slide into the booth or tables watch your knees as it has to hold the electronics for the hot pot it reduces leg space (our wonderful waitress warned us so we didn't hit our knees 😉)

Customize your Mix experience. Multiple options for those that like sushi, hot pot, Korean dishes, etc. You can really make it your own. Staff was helpful and friendly, explaining the hot pot process and experience to me. The fried sushi is amazing as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience in restaurant at Mix.

Was looking for a hot pot place and MIX was what we were looking for! There aren't many hot pot places in the area but this one stands out as a great one. The options were numerous, their servers were great, and we absolutely loved the food. Only disappointing thing was the takoyaki....
Really enjoyed our hot pot experience here and can't wait to go back! Their menu is pretty varied too, we'll have to try some of the Korean options!

Me & My Husband have heard raving reviews about "Mix" located not but a few minutes from our home & business. We were welcomed in right away, seated and had the menu explained to us. We decided on the "All you can eat Hot-pot" the base soup had good seasoning & flavors. The meats,seafood, noodles and veggie options were fun to choose through. My husband loved the peanut sauces at the bar that went well with his chicken. An I loved the seafood & baby octopus! The only down sides I'd have to say is the automatic grutitity, depending on service I would like to be able to determine this amount and how within our first time visit and recent they've hiked up prices within a three week period. Sadly a $75 bill for two is a bit much and only reserved now for special occasions

The first all you can eat hot pot in Cedar Rapids. The food is pretty good, really fresh, and decent amount of options to choose from.
However, service is really slow and the quantity they bring out each time is very little. They also add a 20% tip charge to the bill regardless of party size. Super pricy for the food imo.
Overall, food is good but you just have to be a little patient on the service.

HUGE THANK YOU to Kyle and his team for making our bachelor/bachelorette dinner a highlight of our evening. They were so accommodating and welcoming. Mix is an extremely unique offering in Marion. They have an extensive menu.
We went to Mix for the all-you-can-eat hot pot. On Sundays you save $5 (reg $26). The catch is that everyone at your table has to do the AYCE hot pot. We will return to Mix but probably won’t do the hot pot again, because in our choosy family we will have at least one person who won’t want to do it, and it’s not worth paying for them to not do it AND buying them an entree.
The food was delicious, drinks were tasty!

We usually start with Crab Rangoons or the Chicken Spring Rolls. Both are delicious! Pad Thai wasn't my favorite and this is only because it was heavy on the fish sauce. My absolute favorite dish is Hot Pot. We got Spicy Traditional broth. So, so good!
