Old school restaurant in York Beach. Service was fast, and the food was better than expected. I wouldn't suggest the Avacado Toast but, DO NOT pass on the grilled muffin. Ate here twice. Great both times. Definitely try a grilled muffin. The four of us ate many different breakfast options, and all were delicious! Loved my omelet stuffed with veggies! 5 stars for Kristen who was trying to help the one waitress who was overwhelmed! Isn’t that what a co-worker should do? The waitress was rude to her in front of customers! One star for the waitress who was definitely not a team player! Overall breakfast was good!

What a great spot at York Beach. David and I like to walk here on weekends when I don’t feel like making breakfast. The food is good and in-line with diner food. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a beach establishment. The owner is genuinely concerned about his customers and staff which is refreshing. I love the fact that his kitchen crew and some wait staff are all Haitian and he obviously trying to help them have better lives not take advantage of them like so many unscrupulous business owners. When in Short Sands check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.
