Stopped by for lunch. Definitely above and beyond your typical culinary options! My burger was an inch thick before the bacon, Swiss and mushrooms were added. Pleasant staff providing attentive service. Ready to go back and try some of the other menu options.
I typically don't take the time to write reviews but we were so pleased with our visit tonight, I just had to. We had the steakhouse, porkchops and scallops. Every dish was made to perfection. The risotto was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was equally amazing. The service was phenomenal as well. Our server was very polite, familar with the menu and had great suggestions. There is not 1 thing I would improve. Our family visit restaurants quite often and it's not often we are blown away as we were tonight.

Best kept secret in fine dining throughout the Triangle. Make the short drive to Oxford for Lunch, Brunch or Dinner you will be blown away. We had an AMAZING experience working with Verdigris on a Wedding Rehearsal dinner for our son and his fiancé in their banquet room ~50 people. From the initial conversation 3 months prior to the event, up to and including the evening of the event the entire team were hands on in every single detail. Sharing expertise in menu choices, flexibility in decorating the space, excellent and quick communication throughout, Chef Marc went over/above ensuring presentation and the highest quality ingredients, flavor and freshness. Not to mention these are the kindest, servants heart people you will ever meet. All of the guests commented on how outstanding the food, space and staff were that evening. Heartfelt and sincere Thank You to Pierre, Kelsey, Chef Marc, John, Sonia, Daniel and the many behind the scenes Verdigris team members that work tirelessly to ensure a positive, fun and memorable experience for their guests.

Oxford Oaks does not disappoint! Each time we come we are greeted with friendly smiles, the team is eager and happy to serve. The food is absolutely divine from appetizers (highly recommend the oysters) the entrées are plentiful, and the best bread pudding we’ve ever had! Bronwyn and Rasha both by far met our expectations by offering top of the line stellar service! Keep up great work as Lake Gaston loves supporting you!!🥰
