30min wait once order placed, employees wandering around lost in need of a manager to help with the chaos. Customers confused on who takes the order ticket, pay first or pay later, some signage would help. Burger was missing a chunk, under cooked/soggy fries and bacon. Plus the ole “out of lemonade excuse” Not the PT’s of a few years ago. Unfortunate to see a local small chain go downhill so fast. They make a really great burger and fries and the portions are honestly huge. Their lemonade is also good. The only downside to me is that it is a really small place without much of an atmosphere, so if you are looking for more of a sit-down hamburger restaurant I would recommend others in the area for that. Great burger joint when it’s actually open. I’ve been on a Friday night and there was a singer/guitarist doing Jimmy Buffet songs. We go to PTs all the time in Wilmington. They are all fantastic. We were near Leland so decided to stop. This PTs needs some attention as far as wiping tables and cleaning floors. There was garbage all over the floors and sticky tables. Servers in Wilmington area are very attentive and helpful. Didn't get the same experience in Leland. Will will stick with Wilmington. Be aware! My wife and I stopped by here to try it out. Food is average. Nothing exceptional. A step up from fast food. The main issue I have is when I paid I left a cash tip. When I received my credit card statement there was a tip added to my card as well that I did not authorize. Very underhanded and poor business practice. We won’t be back.
