Wow! I remember going to a Perkins with my grandfather as a small child. I recently went to the ones in Fargo with my children. Nostalgia wasn’t full force. Right when you walked in the front door, we are Greeted and Sat Within minutes. We had quite a few questions about the menu, mainly my children did :-) the server was courteous and kind with all of it. The manager was walking around checking on tables and she was wonderful. The experience at Perkins... Hmm the environment felt like we were at home it was so comfortable. The crew working was beyond helpful and polite. Went here with some girlfriends just to catch up. Service was great beginning to end! Food was phenomenal and we were sooo full when we were done. My personal picky thing is bathrooms. They were clean and fully stocked. Most places tend to forget that one detail and Perkin hands down nailed it all the way around. Today I chose Perkins to kill time and have a late lunch before picking my Granddaughter up from school. I arrived at approximately 1 pm and there was no line. I seated myself and within minutes there was a waitress at my table providing me a menu and taking my drink order. She immediately came back with my drinks and advised that another gal would be taking my food order and waiting on me shortly. Within ten minutes my order was in. Both the people who served me were very pleasant and attentive. They checked in to see how the food was and if I wanted to add to my order at all. I opted for the BLT sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Both were tasty. I even had a second bowl of chicken noodle soup. The Manager was visibly helping to seat customers who came n and we had a delightful chat. Two of the servers have over 30 years of experience here. Their experience spoke for them. I left out satisfied with my experience, the service and the food. I’ll definitely be back and likely in-between the lunch and dinner rush, as it offered a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Was traveling from out of town and wanted a sit down restaurant so we came to Perkins. This place was amazing. Greeted when you first walked in with happiness, the waitress was very knowledgeable and even tho we asked a lot of questions she never got frustrated or hurried us. She was amazing! The food came out quick and WAS DELICIOUS!!! Please if you are in the area please stop by and see these amazing people and try their amazing food! Will most definitely be back when we are back this way! Thank you to all of you!!
