The food was just okay and very pricey $ 45.00 for my 11 year old and myself. There was really no food on the bar when we got there at 2:00. Had to make it to someone's attention. Plus 4.45% to pay by credit card. Take cash if you can. Drove an hour and this was our first time and probably last. The food is still pretty good but way overpriced. Like everything else, thanks to Bidenomics/Bidenflation, it's not worth making a 1 hour drive to eat at Reid's once in a while. I will be glad when The Homestead in Bonne Terre, Missouri reopens again. Very good home cooked for at a much lower price. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Worst food I have ever stuck in my mouth. Spent 58 dollars for 2 people on I guess seafood night. absolutely disgusting. Nothing has any flavor at all. Everything was old and harder than a rock including the rolls I've heard so much about. I've been upset about wasting money on some bad food. And I'm definitely not one to leave reviews. but this place was a joke. I don't understand how it stays open. I have ate hospital food and have worked in a nursing home and the food was better. This restaurant has always been amazing 🤩. I love the food, it's always fresh and hot. Excellent 👌 choices of different kinds of foods. The service is always wonderful too. The buffet was very good. I tried some ribs, but they were a little overdone and tough for me to eat. But, if you have a good set of choppers, do try them. I had some of their cold, but nicely cooked shrimp... Often times shrimp ends up tough... This shrimp was great! Not drowned in water so that it got soggy. Nice and firm. Their mashed potatoes and brown gravy was spot on, a great comfort food. I'd go back in a heart beat!! The food is pretty good, but sometimes (like when they're slow or at the end of the day), it seems the food has been sitting out there for quite a while, and is now chewy or just gross from sitting so long. Still a good family buffet but the quality of the food has dropped after the Covid had expired. Chicken shouldn't be the same amount of chicken sitting in the pan getting even more dried out after 2 times going up for a plate of food & the same amount of chicken not being replenished. Fresh served chicken would be great, also skinless chicken would be great too.
