Great pancakes and the self serve coffee (French roast local roaster) was really tasty!

Our group of four ventured into the bustling atmosphere of Presidents’ Day weekend, fully aware of the 45-minute wait ahead after putting our names down. However, the anticipation was well rewarded! While awaiting our table, we explored the charming town, appreciating the convenience of receiving text alerts once it was our turn.
Upon finally settling in, we were treated to a hearty breakfast that surpassed expectations. Locally sourced ingredients added a delightful touch to each dish, with the bacon particularly standing out for its perfect crispiness.
Amidst the natural light streaming in, our brunch with the in-laws felt like a relaxed occasion, further accentuated by the positive vibes permeating the establishment. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly endorse Rise for anyone seeking a stellar dining experience.
The food was so good we went back the next morning. My son said they have the best gluten free French toast he's ever had.
The maple chorizo skillet and Cinnamon bun pancakes are both amazing.
Late edit: Earlier before we got food we mentioned to the chef my son loves his French toast and that we came back for it even though we're from out of town. Right before we left the chef came over and gave us some of the bread they use for their French toast so we could make it at home.
If I could give above 5 stars I would.

Perfect place for a delicious breakfast. Had the special: shakshuka that was delicious, eggs Benni and a couple of other dishes. We were put on a wait list and returned just as we received a message. By then the place had emptied out, so maybe a bit delayed with the message that your table is ready. It was very cold outside and it seemed a lot of restaurants we visited were struggling to keep the heat up. Second visit for us out of towners, we will be back when we're in town.

This is the absolute best breakfast and brunch place in Mystic. It's a small place so there is always a wait (even in the off season) but it is absolutely worth the wait. The tronmonster is amazing, the Maxwell heart is delicious and the brisket hash is to die for. I could not recommend this place more highly.
