Super fun and cute spot! I love diners and we decided to stop here on our drive from San Diego to LA and glad we did. Exceptional service from a friendly man with a cool mustache. Super attentive and our food and drinks came out fast. Food was fresh and flavorful and great fries. We loved it! Great prices. Small menu and authentic diner vibes with the servers and staff wearing 50’s diner attire. A bit weathered but I appreciate it. Do recommend! Simply put Ruby’s has some of the best food around. I’ve been coming to Ruby’s for 30+ years. Their tuna melt is my favorite of all time, their burgers are some of the best in the world. And their shakes…perfection. This particular location with its outside rooftop dining with ocean views is exceptional. The service, amazing. Seriously such a special place. I visited the place on the occasion of a family event, but I did not eat the local produce, instead we made it kosher and imported food independently. The atmosphere in the place is very noisy and loud but nevertheless nice and feels wonderful! Service Dine in Meal type Other

I was so excited to come here for my first time ever, as I am a huge fan of diners! I love the history of them. The outside of this place is so awesome! I love the structure of the building, the lights, colors, and of course the classic cars! Upon entering, I was disheartened. The inside needs some serious TLC (tender loving care). There are a lot of blank spaces on the walls, white walls, tables, and floors. There are a few posters on the walls here and there, one antique bike, and that's about it. It felt sad inside. This place is dying to be taken care of. Please, will the owners read this and take care of this place better? Go out and buy more things that fit the time period! Decorate! Have fun! Please add more life to this lovely diner. The women who work here are so awesome and kind! Our food was good, too. The pumpkin shake was great!
