Went to Ruth's Chris Steak House last night with my girlfriend and we had a most enjoyable dinner! We started with some appetizers, then moved onto salads and great steaks. Everything was perfectly prepared and the filets were absolutely delicious! Both the service and atmosphere were great. We had fun and appreciated the excellence of the restaurant in all areas. I highly recommend Ruth's Chris Steak House and will be back soon. Many thanks to the great Associates at the restaurant! Over all it was good experience at Ruth's Chris steak house. The food was good and the service was great! The place I believe needs to be remodeled to fit the food and the prices! Over all good experience but comparing this place to the other steak house restaurants in the area, in my opinion other places win!! This was my third visit. There were 2 things that could have made this experience better. #1 The bread was hard and stale. #2 The table cloth was not cleaned in between courses. Had a decent experience overall First, the service was amazing. Our server, Amy, was very friendly and explained everything well. She went out of her way to make sure we had a good experience. Secondly, the food was mediocre for the price. Ordered the calamari. It comes with a sauce on top. Kind of strange since calamari is supposed to be crunchy and the sauce left it rubbery after sitting for a few minutes. The menu didn’t indicate a sauce was on top. I ordered a NY strip, medium rare. The steak came out very rare with the center red and cool. The steak itself was also very fatty and tough. I’ve had much better steak for a quarter of the price. Ordered the garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and baked potato as sides. Those were all very tasty. Overall, it was an upscale restaurant mostly by pricing and quality of service. Visited Ruth Chris today in Troy for lunch. Had a 6oz filet with shrimp and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and paired well with a Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes. I took my son and it was both of our 1st time. We were running about 10mins late. I called and the hostess was very understanding and nice about still accommodating us. Our service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the ambience was very nice. I'd definitely recommend plan on returning myself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here on Saturday we had a reservation for 4:45, we were celebrating a birthday. We got seated right away the host was very friendly, our table was nice, the atmosphere is nice, our server was very nice as well. The food was okay, we ordered the porterhouse for two and got a side of the garlic mashed potatoes, and the au gratin potatoes. The potatoes were great, now the steak we asked for medium well we're just not a fan of red bloody meat, our steak came to our table medium to medium rare in some spots, so that completely turned me off, and I understand steaks are generally for the best flavor supposed to be cooked at medium I guess, and I understand that but we're just not a fan of blood coming from our meat. The other turn off was they bring you a plate with just melted butter on it for you to cut your steak on and eat it it was just way too much butter. However I have no problem coming back here again and trying their stuffed chicken, that looked and smelled really good from another table, overall we weren't disappointed we did wrap our steak up bring it home and cooked it a little bit longer at home and it tasted fantastic I would still highly recommend coming Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was my first time eating inside instead of getting carryout. I don't think words can describe how great our experience was. The food, atmosphere, and service was top notch. Let's be honest, it should be for the price we're paying lol! The stuffed chicken is superb and the steak was super tender! I hope to make my way back soon. I went here to celebrate a birthday. The place looks great inside and out, the staff was friendly, plus free valet. The food was good and fresh, but pricey as expected. However, I think the stuffed mushrooms are overpriced for the portion you receive. There were a few issues, the first was after we sat down we were told they were out of 6oz steaks but they had 8oz so we just made the upgrade with no discount offered. The second, we ordered spinach for the starter but we received mashed potatoes. It was quickly fixed and delicious. The third, was one of the steaks we ordered was too rare but it was ordered medium. I'm sure this could have been fixed but It was just cooked more at home. The forth, we were never offered bread I only found out they had it because another table was offered some. The last was our bill, there was a charge because something wasn't put in correctly, had I not noticed it would have been a bit more. That issue was fixed as well. As I mentioned, the food was fresh so was the steak, but I thought there would be something signature about it. Also most forgot to mention we did receive a free cheesecake for the birthday. I really enjoy the Taste Maker dinners at Ruth's Chris steakhouse! Me and my cousin have been to several of these events and the food has been spectacular every time. Most recently we went last week to enjoy a Prisoner Wine Company selection with some well paired dishes. The wine selection is always very good. The service and staff has also been friendly every time we've gone. To top it off, I think the price is very reasonable for what you're getting.
