That's a nice idea to order nicely cooked duck. Guests may have good ice cream at this bar. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. A number of reviewers suppose that the staff is patient here. Stake dry. Fries not saly and wet. Vegetable wasnt cook well. But there was beautiful view and a cat. I give him a all stake . Price per person €25–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very slow service. We waited for 1.5 hours for children's menu (sausages and fries) - that's definitely should be cooked much faster. Not saying about other dishes. The food was ok-ish, but not great. Not recommending this place unless you are ok to wait for several hours.

Great service. There were 7 of us and they seated us at a nice round table without reservation. We all enjoyed soups and steaks, but meats on skewers (šašlykai) were not so great. Salmon was lovely. Portions are reasonable and competitively priced. Will be back again.

After the hill of crosses we ventured across the town to S Baras as they seem to be near the woods. The gps took us to the back of the restaurant. Fortunately I remembered seeing some parked cars in the way in and found the eatery right smack in front of a mystical icons park. Food was racy. Menu, tight. The video behind the bar showed the highlights of the dishes served. We ordered 2 porks mains ( why ain’t we surprised after all we’re in pork country ), the wine marinated pork neck and the smoked pork shank. The neck was overdone. Maybe the wine marinate saved the day. The meat is still flavourful but over-cooked. The smoked shanks was perfect, with good resistance and full flavour. It came with horseradish, aioli, sauerkraut, pickled cucumber and potato wedges. Quite a serving. Service was a whiff of fresh air after the surly and unsmiling waiters in Vilnius. I think they grew up in tragic circumstances. The crew here was friendly and inviting although they can’t do English too well. But that’s ok. It’s the attitude that counts. Laura was outstanding.
