the French fries were so good! I never tasted fries this good, anywhere! I ordered the fish and chips with calamari as the appetizer. we walked in sat down with no wait and it was around lunch hour too. beautiful view of the delta with great service. The view is very pretty from back deck. There were a number of issues w/ both quality and service. The evening woman manager received feedback well about problems. I'd try it again sometime. The clam chowder was the star! It was tasty and impressed my date. 20 yrs ago, under different name and, I believe different ownership, it was a fine restaurant. Have been wanting to try out this place and we enjoyed it. We love seafood! We had the mixed oysters. We wish we knew the different kinds we ordered as our server didn't know as well. My daughter had the crab Benedict & said she wanted her eggs on top runny. It was served dry. Food servings was quite generous. We just also wish that the server had informed us that they were huge servings so we could've shared our orders. We love the crab melt sandwich! I'd order it again when we go back. Hopefully we'd get a more knowledgeable server next time. But overall, we enjoyed the place especially the outdoor seating with our dog. Stopped here for lunch with a large group of friends. We got a table out by the water. The weather was warm so it was a good day to be on the bay. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was friendly but slow and a few details got mixed up. My one complaint is they weren't able to do separate checks, so we had to do a lot of math, pass money around then someone ultimately put in on their card. The food was decent, and the view was beautiful, but the service was only average. The place could use some updates, and unfortunately, the drinks didn't quite hit the mark. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
