Chicken dinner on Sunday. Very tasteless Buns were a bit stale. Seemed a day or two old. Fries tasteless as well as the coleslaw. Compared to Superone down the street, much better Superone and half the price. We will stick to the pizza. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1

The pizza was mediocre at best. Not enough toppings. There was nothing special or different about it. The garlic cheese bread was gross. It had no garlic flavor whatsoever, the cheese was bland, the bottom was burned black, and the pizza dipping sauce was watery and tasted off. Didn't finish it. I didn't know that this restaurant only has 3 tables, most of which were filled with people waiting on carryout orders so I wouldn't classify this as a dine-in restaurant. Will not be back. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Young staff, but they were great. Helpful, customer oriented and glad to answer any question. Daily deals and very good food. Busy place, but worth the wait. I will be a returning customer. Great stop for toasted subs!! They had a variety of items, pizza, pasta, subs, etc... They even have a small cooler with take and bake pizzas, lasagna, other pastas. Quite possibly the best pizza and broasted chicken ever. Well, not ever, but I've been eating at one Sammy's pizza or another for close to 30 years and it's always great. The Sammy's in Lakeside is no exception to that rule. They have a very small...maybe fits 10, if you think thin... dinning area and parking is a bit of an issue. That aside... It's the square cut, thin crust, God given goodness that is the draw here. My favorite, albeit unflashy, is the sausage. One piece of Italian sausage per square...and it's awesome! I grew up watching the dough fly through the air in the window in West Duluth as a youth. I sat in the booth with your own personal jukebox at the end of the table. All you really needed was a big Sammys sausage pizza a soda and a big smile. Now I live by Lake Superior Disappointing as this is to say lakeside Sammy's has forgotten to put the extra cheese on there crew Pizza the last several times we have ordered. I guess you have to ask for extra cheese on it so they can tell you what comes with it and then maybe they'll put it on there. Dry, No cheese! The box might have had more flavor the last few times.

Ordered a cauliflower crust to the Sammy’s special pizza and it was amazing!!! Reasonably priced!! Bottom could have been more crisp but fine!!! Small but atmosphere was good and employees friendly and helpful!!!

Picked up a small sausage pizza and large one with tomatoes, onions and peppers the moment we got into town for the weekend. I noticed another order with a salad waiting to be delivered when we arrived. It looked so good, I added a salad to our order. Got the vinaigrette dressing to go with it. Pizza and salad were very tasty and just what I was craving after a long drive from the twin cities. The 4 of us will eat the leftover slices in the morning. It’s a round pizza cut I to small square slices. So tasty. Enthusiast staff treated us right.
