I LOVE SIMI'S!! The service is fast and efficient and the staff is always so nice. The food is always a large portion and is better than other Asian kitchens. I especially love their lunch menu because it gives you a bit of everything. I highly suggest their egg drop soup , their chow fun, and especially their shrimp dishes. Our first visit was great. We had a light, early dinner. I was more impressed with the relationships the staff/owners had with the patrons. Every person that came in was treated like a regularly returning customer. Even though we overheard customers asking what’s good, it’s our first time here. The staff is very accommodating and thoughtful in addressing the customers. We have a new favorite place!! This is my favorite restaurant in the Phoenix area. The staff is always so friendly and prompt. My plate is always empty because the food is always amazing. Based on 1 visit: The staff is definitely friendly, and the owner seems to know many regulars. I had the orange chicken, and paid extra for the chow mein... which was simply a pile of noodles without anything else in it and without any real flavoring. Totally not worth it in my opinion. The orange chicken was pretty good. The decor is super generic, and pleasant enough. I appreciated that they had the televisions on mute with captions on, to not interrupt the dining experience. I had the lunch special, and that seems like a pretty good deal. The photo is missing the egg roll, as I ate that before I remembered to take a picture. Cannot speak highly enough of Simi's. The customer service here is exceptional- our waitress was so kind and went out of her way to check up on us. It was our first time here and we seemed to be the only customers they didn't know- everyone who came in they treated like old friends. The restaurant has an unassuming exterior, but the interior is nice and clean and pleasant. And the food! Fantastic. Portions sizes are crazy and the food is absolutely delicious. My husband got his favorite orange chicken he's ever had! We could have split our entrees. We decided that next time we come we'll split an entree and an appetizer.
