2/18/24 Started out woderful as usual but then it went down hill after we ordered. Very disappointed in the service today. We ordered before other people even came in, then they got 2 big tables and our waitress was to busy for us. Asked someone else to go get our food. Then he proceeded to give our food to another table multiple times placing our plates in front of multiple people. Then sat it back on the tray and went to get their food. Then our waitress comes back started helping big tables again, then saw we didn't have our food that was sitting on the tray by other tables. Then she tried to give us our plate and when we told her what had happened. She walked away putting our food back on the tray and proceeded to help the 2 big tables again. Not saying a word to us. So we left and did not get to enjoy one of our favorite places to eat. We eat here quite frequently never have we ever been treated so poorly. 2/19/24 So much better. Service is everything. Went back today and the waitress we had today was on top of everything. Food was wonderful took no time at all. Very pleased today. Our food came directly to our table to us and not to other people. The go to place for Mex in Bowie. Lunch menu $9.95. Hot, fast and delicious. Service is outstanding. Another waitress passing topped off our coffee. Very friendly staff and owner. We had a party of 3. 2 of us are new to town, and 1 is visiting. We all enjoyed our time and food. The service was excellent! We got the traditional basket of chips before ordering...and we EACH got our own little salsa dish! I've never seen that at another restaurant. Then she brought us queso! Nom nom! I had one of the meat dishes; good...but not as good as my husband's burrito. The server checked on us more than regularly, and we wanted for nothing. I can't wait to go back! Stopped in for dinner with my husband and we both really enjoyed our meals. They started us with chips and queso and good hot sauce. We had the beef enchilada and chicken enchilada plates. Both delicious. I also took home a dozen tamales for later. Equally delicious! Restaurant is clean, Service is fast and friendly. We will definitely be back many more times. Food Ok quality, but not good enough for the price. And not really spicy. Service was bland, but good looking restaurant inside and out. Good menu, clean bathroom and easy access.
