Pretty good place, pulls off what it is trying to accomplish - medium high end. Good option if you want a nice steak. Perfect for a nice date. Service was a little slow, but excellent. I can't rate a place 4.5 stars. I dislike giving a 5-star review simply because everything can be improved. That being said, here's my opinion/review. Tonight finds me at Stanford's for dinner. Their seafood dishes sounded scrumptious, but were pricey. Besides, there was a Mediterranean Chicken dish that seemed to have my name on it, so I ordered that. I love my veggies, even though it came with Asparagus, I ordered a side of Brussel Sprouts. This was close to being the best meal I've had all week. Definitely worth a return visit. Great for a special occasion or a date night. We had the stuffed mushrooms app and smoked chicken fettucine and crab & artichoke sandwich for entrees. Everything was presented beautifully and was delicious. Our server was efficient and friendly. We also had a couple of the nonalcoholic mocktails - Cherry Rickey & Hibiscus Ginger cocktail. Personally, we found these to be overly sweet initially. By the end of the meal, after a lot of the ice had melted, they tasted much better.
