We went here based on other reviews and where very disappointed that we did. My sister ordered a pollo burrito 🌯 and all it was was chicken nothing else in the tortilla. My fish tacos 🌮 had only one corn tortilla and with the juices immediately broke through then becoming a fork and knife meal. Service was bad as the people seated after us had there order taken before us because we hadn't even received our menus yet. I typically love hole-in-the-wall places to each but not this one. Talk about authentic Mexican grub! Outstanding flavor, presentation and quantity. Homemade salsa is tasty and spicy! Real fresh ingredients! Worth the drive for lunch from Chicago! We had the tacos al pastor, (pork)tamales and chips and salsa. We also had the hoy champurrado. All are delicious. Their chips and salsa are, by far, my favorite. The chips are the perfect thickness, not too thick nor too thin, and fried to perfection, a nice, golden brown. We've been here twice during our stay in Yuma and will be returning before we leave, and we'll be recommending Tacos Mi Rancho to people heading here. Had an enchilada style beef & bean burrito. Wife had a beef tostada. The food was delicious. This is a small, somewhat cramped restsurant, but the decor gives off a genuine Mexican vibe, and the staff make you feel welcome. Menus is extensive, and reasonably priced. There is something for everyone's palate. When you first dit down, they give you generous helpings of tortilla chips and salsa, yo peak your appetite while ordering and waiting for your food. My first visit was 7 years ago on a trip to Phoenix. We stopped here because it was just of the freeway which was very convenient. It's small place but comfortable. The menu has the usual mix of Mexican food dishes. Any of which would make a delicious meal. Prices are reasonable, drinks are refillable. I chose the chicharron burrito and was not disappointed. I like it so much, we stopped on our way back to Cali and at there again. I also picked up an order of chicharrones to go.
