I kept the extra star up because the menu is unique and people still need to experience what they offer. The order execution is very chaotic. I witnessed several orders getting messed up and my ticket apparently never printed so I was there for a while left to simply observe. The establishment is run down and cramped. That said, the food stands on its own. I love that they are good about toppings so everyone can have the type of burger they want. I really want to give 5 stars, but I can't.... I have been seeing Ted's on Hamburger TV specials & shows for years now... Finally made the drive from Campton New Hamshire on our way home to New York, and it was just alright... It's more cheese then burger, and it comes on a roll (like kaiser)... The fries were good... All in all i'm glad we stopped after seeing it on TV all these years... But not even in my top 5... Service was great, & the atmosphere was like a small diner spot. I remember when the burgers were so juicy and the cheese was just a bit more salty it Didn’t taste the same and the restaurant added too many items to the menu also they updated the inside of the restaurant and just doesn’t feel or taste the same also the cheese use to be gooier it was hard just look at the picture that I took sitting at the restaurant with the fork in it.

Ted's Restaurant is a roadside diner with only three tables inside but several picnic tables outside so that is the vibe you should expect. We went for the steam burgers and loved them! The single patty versions were plenty big. You could really taste the meat flavor. The regular and garlic fries were crispy and hot. Service was fast and friendly. Also loved the Foxon Park root beer and cream soda. We had the Hawaii 5-O and A1 burgers. Definitely something to try if you are anywhere in the area. We have been willing to try these for years and finally made it! I gotta say the place is tiny, service is great and fast, they are friendly. The burger was ok, I order the southwestern and my boyfriend got it plain. It was definitely juicy but the buns are not that great. The sweet potatoe fries are amazing!! It was good for the experience but we wouldn't come back as it is far from us but we can finally say we tried them!
