Was very busy tonight. We were greeted in that Texas Roadhouse way, waited about 10 mins, we're seated and ordered drinks and appetizers. Alisha was our server and she was fun, friendly, and efficient. Husbands birthday so she sang to him. We had a wonderful dinning experience.... Super busy. Standing room only. Revelation! Rush-hour table for two gets reshuffled in the queue in favor of three or more arriving guests. Watched it happen multiple times during our 45 minute wait to be seated. Only got a table after I squawked rather loudly about being passed-over three times. I mean, kind of a sly strategy if ya think about it. First, take the name. Second, issue a pager. Odds are in the store's favor that you will wait for your turn far away from the congestion of the host station and never discover that your meager party of two just got sent to the back-of-the-lineup multiple times. I get it, max seating equals max revenue. I don't blame their profit motive but at least post a sign stating that during certain hours three or more guests arriving together are given priority seating privileges. Had I known, I would have invited the pan-handler in the parking lot to join my four-year-old son and I for lunch or just leave and go to ZIPS down the street. Food is excellent. Cooked to order. Staff is friendly and courteous. Love the line dancing servers. Birthday requests are taken seriously and carried out with flair and Pzazz! As far as the seating queue goes, not mad. Just wiser. Visited on a Sunday so this place was super packed. Queue was till the door and approximate waiting time was 40 minutes. Gave my name and number to the person at the counter and they sent a text message about 45 minutes later. Went inside and had to wait a few more minutes before getting seated. A server approached quickly, introduced herself in a friendly and courteous manner. Waiting time for food wasn't too long. Nice and cozy ambience. Someone probably had their birthday party going on so I could hear the staff singing, cheering and dancing for them. Their food is very delicious and decent and is priced reasonably. We visited from Vancouver, Canada and this is one of our favourite places to go! The service is excellent, it’s a well oiled machine! They have so many people working and are very efficient. Our waiter was amazing, smiles the whole time and was just happy and jolly! The manager even came to our table to ask how everything was, and it was excellent. The food portions are huge compared to anything in Vancouver and really felt affordable! We paid $80 for our meal, and were so stuffed! Similar option back in Canada would cost $300-$400 easy. What an amazing restaurant and staff, love Texas roadhouse and wish they’d open up a restaurant in Vancouver Canada! Can’t wait to dine here again! We came in with a group of six people. We waited about five minutes to be seated. The server we had did an excellent job. The drinks were at the table in about 4 minutes. Allow me to highlight the standout items that left me satisfied, as well as provide some constructive feedback regarding a couple of disappointing dishes. Let's start with the positives! The Sirloin and Filet steaks at Texas Roadhouse were absolute showstoppers. Cooked to perfection, these cuts of meat were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I truly appreciated the high-quality beef and the skillful preparation by the culinary team. The chefs at Texas Roadhouse definitely know their way around a grill! Another standout item was the sweet potato. It was a glorious balance of sweet and savory, with a perfectly baked exterior and a deliciously soft, caramelized center. This dish perfectly complemented the richness of the steaks and added a unique twist to the overall dining experience. Moving on to the salads - they were definitely not overlooked at Texas Roadhouse. The freshness and crispness of the greens, coupled with the variety of toppings and dressings, made for a refreshing and delightful accompaniment to the main course. The salads were a pleasant surprise and a true testament to the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. Now, as for the weaker aspects of my experience, I have mixed feelings about the French fries. I do hope that the kitchen can address this issue in the future to maintain consistency across all aspects of the meal. Additionally, I ordered the kids' steak bites, and while they were flavorful, they were disappointingly chewy. The texture reminded me more of rubber than the tender meat I was hoping for. As a family-friendly restaurant, I believe Texas Roadhouse should pay more attention to the quality and tenderness of these smaller portions to ensure a pleasurable dining experience for the younger guests as well. Despite these minor setbacks, Texas Roadhouse remains a reliable choice for a great steakhouse experience. With their top-notch Sirloin and Filet steaks, mouthwatering sweet potatoes, and refreshing salads, the flavors and attention to detail showcased are truly commendable. If the kitchen can work on improving the consistency of their French fries and the tenderness of the kids' steak bites, I have no doubt that Texas Roadhouse will continue to be a top favorite among steak lovers. The service was outstanding! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable , and helpful when deciding what to order. The atmosphere was a bit loud for me , but that was just me. The entrees were delicious but a little heavy-handed on the salt. Otherwise, it was a great meal! I wasn't expecting much at first, but I was quite surprised. The food is amazing! The service is awesome, and the atmosphere is relaxing. We enjoyed our visit so much we returned for lunch the very next day. Highly recommended. We will be returning in the future.
