Had lunch today with Robert N. Hoff and Flora Hoff at the Texas Roadhouse in Hendersonville. Robert and I shared the porterhouse steak. Flora enjoyed sirloin. Showed property the rest of the day. Flora is up here celebrating her birthday 🎂. So nice to have her home this weekend. Our server Erin was absolutely impeccable. Best service I’ve had in such a long time. She was just awesome. As far as the hostesses, not so much. Didn’t appreciate their attitude specifically the younger man taking names down. Very underlyingly rude like he’d rather be doing something else. The food was just as it would be anywhere else, nothing crazy. They pour pretty light on their drinks but it was still enjoyable. EVERYTHING we ordered was fantastic! The service was great! Mikayla, our server, was pleasant, proactive, and positive. My husband is excellent at grilling steak at home, but we still like to go to our Texas Roadhouse for the experience. This was my first time dining at a Texas Roadhouse. What a wonderful experience. My seat was positioned so that I could see into the kitchen. Even though they were very busy they were smiling and that gave me a great feeling even before my meal came. This is my new favorite restaurant. Rachael was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and she took extra care of us. She kept the bread coming the drinks full and I haven’t had that type of service since before Covid. Now the food, WOW delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. We left with a to go box and well nourished. We will definitely be back. I will save room for dessert the next time. Thanks .
