This restaurant has always been a favorite of ours for 30 years. And although it's been quite some time since we've been there, ( covid ruins everything ), we were in the area and decided to stop for a cocktail. Obviously the individual at the bar who served us is not quite up to speed. I get it it's 2024 and standards have changed. But I have to say, a restaurant with this kind of history, I would believe the staff should be required to look more presentable. Multi colored and unkept hair and a limited knowledge of common drinks won't keep us coming back. Maybe we'll wait a month and give it another try. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Ribeye was dry and overpriced. Vegetables were too al dente. A bit pricey. The rack of lamb was actually lollipop lamb chops and they were very good. Scallops and muscles were good, the seafood soup was good too. The beef tip appetizer was excellent. tenderloin was good. I wish I had pictures to share. This was a date so I was immersed in the moment and avoiding my phone! Romantic, easy listening and heart warming live jazz complimented the cozy wood surrounding our high top table. Our waitress was the most pleasant and dear providing great service. Finally, the food was deliscious! I had the oyster appetizer and I wanted seconds! The blackened salmon with crab was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Lastly, I am on a mission now to find a bottle of the house Cabernet! It was excellent. So full that I couldn’t get dessert but just might sneak in one evening to sit at bar just for dessert. I would highly recommend The Log Cabin Restaurant. I got the blackened Salmon entree and it was delicious. And the cafe mocha and espresso chocolate tort for desert was also woderful. The atmosphere was lovely and service excellent. Cannot wait to go again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
