The bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the local area. The pub grub is good, with reasonably priced meals and a good selection of drinks. The pub also has a nice lounge side, a TV and a small friendly dog. For those looking for a bit of exercise, the hotel is perfectly located to explore the Cleveland Way and surrounding areas. Parking can be tricky, but there is free parking behind the pub. All in all, The Royal Oak Hotel is a great place to spend an evening or two and enjoy a good meal and a few drinks. Highly recommended.
