Called on a Thursday for a cake I needed Saturday. Tita answered and was super friendly but we clearly had a language barrier. I asked if I could text her a picture so all of our communication was in text after that. I was having a Murder Mystery party and the theme was Body on the Boardwalk. I sent 2 pics and asked her to put them together. I've never ordered a cake from Tita before so I wasn't sure what I was going to get with only sending 2 pics. My dad picked up the cake for me so I didn't see it until it got home. It was perfect! So pretty and the shells were realistic. I asked for a body outline on top and she nailed it. Went with chocolate cake w/ raspberry filling. The cake was super dense and moist. A huge hit at my party! Can't wait to buy my next cake from Tita!
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with some sweet treats. Problem is, we (kids included) all have different preferences. I did a quick Google search and found Tita's. We got there right when they opened. We left with chocolate covered oreos, flan, churro cheesecake, fruit tart and a tres leches cake. The flan was delicious. It had great texture and the flavor was perfect, not overwhelmingly sweet. The churro cheesecake was good. I'm not a big cheesecake person and I actually liked it. The fruit tart was good. I love fruit tarts and I normally get them from Whole Foods. I was excited to try the ones from here. This fruit tart was a little too sweet for me. The crust was sweet like a sugar cookie. Together with the sweet filling and fruits, it was just too sweet for my liking. But my husband enjoyed it. The tres leches cake was very soggy. I've had my fair share of tres leches cakes. They're usually a hit or miss. I guess it's hard to get the ratio of milk to cake right. This one, unfortunately, was a miss. It was soggy cake sitting in a deep puddle of milk. The flavor was good, but there was way too much liquid. The cake was nearly disintegrated in the liquid. My kids enjoyed the chocolate covered oreos. Overall, I'm happy we stopped in and tried this place. I liked that they had a decent selection of treats ready to go. We'll definitely be back again.
They were able to make a small birthday cake on short notice (24 hrs). The cake was delicious, the party group loved it although they aren't cake people. Highly recommend!
Hello hello hello I could not wait to comment on this place. I was out and about and googled bakery. Tita's was close. I am glad I stopped by this delightful bakery. The staff was friendly. I purchased churros cheesecake. Wow so good. Get out your wallets and eat the cake.
