This was our first time. The fish was very fresh and perfectly prepared. The employees were very helpful and gave good advice when asked. The seating outside was perfect for a leisurely Sunday lunch. The bay and Morro rock views were spectacular. It was fun watching otters diving for shell and cracking the shells while floating on their backs. The live entertainment was great. The only negative was a long line to order, but I guess that's to be expected for such a popular place. We had a great meal, a great time, and we will be going back soon. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. We sat outside with our puppy and enjoyed the cool ocean breeze and baritone songs of nearby seals. We ordered dockside omlettes, one STUFFED with shrimp, and the other STUFFED with scallops (pictured)! Amazing meals. 5 stars! Our server was always prompt with water, coffee, and a smile. Crab melt 10/10 Fish of the day fish and chips 6/10 - I do prefer a more traditional beer battered fish and chip for this meal. The light batter on the fish was nice don’t get me wrong but majorly lacking in seasoning. Obviously fresh fish but again some seasoning is key. Clam chowder taste was perfect, but lacking in actual amount of clams per bowl - unless I just got unlucky but that shouldn’t happen Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Morrow Bay has some decent seafood and Tognazzini's is at the top in the Bay. They know how to do seafood at a decent price. The locals were starting to show for the live music and to chat about their day, whether work or play, and a chance meeting of an old flame or someone new.
