I took my wife and aunt to Tony and Joe's for brunch. They got the basic eggs, sausage, bacon and pancake breakfasts. I got (finally) a Bloody Mary and the Avocado Toast. First the good. The good was very good. The Potatoes were excellent and the Bloody Mary was very good. I liked the Avocado Toast, but it was a little salty and kind of plain. It was basically just mashed Avocado on toast with nothing else. It was still good. Now the bad. They only serve breakfast until 10:50. We got there about 10:20. By the time the waitress came to take our order we almost missed the cutoff. I ordered a Bloody Mary, and we all ordered breakfast. We got our drink orders, but no Bloody Mary. The waitress said she was waiting on the bartender. We got our food, so no Bloody Mary. Reminded her a second time. I finally got my drink as I was finishing my meal. I might have ordered 2 if I had gotten the first one an hour earlier. The atmosphere is great, being right on the beach. The food is actually pretty good. But the service was severely lacking. The only place right on the beach to enjoy some refreshments and food. I didn't order food but others we were with did and really enjoyed the burgers! Only mixed drinks and cans though. I would really like it if they had beer on draft. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First off I’d like to say how amazing our waiter was. We got a cheese pizza for our kids (2 and 9) and he was smart thinking and went ahead and put it in the pizza to go box which made everything so easy! You sit wherever you like when you walk in and when we first sat down we sat outside, beautiful view of the ocean. Definitely get that bar and grill feel, but it was a bit chilly this day so eventually we moved inside, when we sat down one of the waitresses who was off the clock immediately have us attention which I thought was sweet considering she was off the clock. The picnic tables out side are huge. We are a family of four and it could probably seat 6 -7 people. They had a great selection of food, I had the Philly hoagie which almost made me tear up because of how beautifully delicious it was. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 5. It was not too busy, seems like a good place for locals to hang out. Their prices were amazing. We spent under $50 for a family of 4, that’s including a alcoholic beverage. Which was also delicious. Some citrus orange drink.. definitely try it out ! They also serve breakfast which we will be back to try! Great place for laid back family beach dinner, or a little sport dinner date with your spouse, or somewhere to have hang out for a while while you sip your drinks and watch the beach goers. Our waiter was great, always attentive and friendly, the food came out fast and hot. It is big portions for the price which I love because your definitely getting your money’s worth. Highly recommend checking out this cute little beach bar & restaurant if you’re in NSB! Every time we have company in town we take them out to breakfast here! Great service, beautiful view and very reasonably priced food! When we first moved here I assumed this place would be a tourist trap, as it’s right downtown & on the beach, but I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly & welcoming the staff was (and has continued to be every time we visit)!
