Via Vecchia has a beautiful dining space. Their wine list is incredible. Straight from Italy, anything you fancy you will find on this menu. We tried their grilled artichokes and sourdough break and we were impressed. We can’t wait to return for dinner. It is truly a beautiful place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. While visits from Rhode Island, we came in from the rain, checked our coats, and sat in a cozy corner table on a green velvet banquette. When I made the reservation the day before I requested the table and we were so happy to see that they gave it to us. The atmosphere (setting, lighting, music) is so warm and inviting with a beautiful view of the cobblestone streets. The food and drinks were also delicious. I highly recommend this Portland gem! We went as people raved to us about the restaurant and we enjoy a nice meal out. Food was extremely overpriced for what it was. Large plates were underwhelming. Staff was pleasant but dull.
