Stopped here for some lunch. It’s not far from the highway so it’s easy to get to. There’s street parking as well as parking lot behind the restaurant. It’s a place that has the classic New England style/vibe. The waitress was super nice and attentive. Our food was really good and there’s plenty of choices to choose from. There’s also a nice area for kids to play Between the highway and the restaurant there’s several stores, a grocery store and gas stations. What a gem this little restaurant is! Fresh homemade food that is made to order and delicious. Homemade Maine potato chips, freshly ground beef in house and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The chef came to our table to check on us and had a nice little chat at the end of our meal. Parking is convenient and the prices are reasonable. This is a great little restaurant in Pittsfield, we ate while they were serving Lunch. I had the Chicken Sandwich and it was very good, along with the homemade chips. My Dad had the BLT and also said it was very good. Great food, great price... what more can you ask for! Stop in, it's worth it! Stopped in on a whim because we saw this place had a bunch of good reviews and it did not disappoint. They’re serving up fresh eats and we even ended the meal with their homemade ice cream. Vittles is an amazing little restaurant owned and operated by some amazing people. My wife and I have yet to have a bad experience. We've had both breakfast and lunch there and both times have experienced great food, in a comfy atmosphere, with great service. All good (except bread) is made fresh at the restaurant. I'd highly suggest their onion rings if you're eating lunch, and the home fries if you're having breakfast! Pictures included with this review are the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and my wife's veggie burger, which she claims is the best she has ever had at a restaurant.
