We've been to a few of these and they do not disappoint. Plenty of food, good service, and a military discount (seemingly, regardless of location). I highly recommend a stop, but be hungry, cause it's a generous portion. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Place ain't bad at all. Only really demerit is the service. I went on concecutive nights. 1st night it was relatively slow inside. The bartender seemed to struggle a bit on waiting on me. She was VERY nice and pleasant but giving me things like napkins... Nope. I never got any and getting her attention was actual work. When she did see me, it was fine but I was a bit at her mercy. 2nd night it was actually busy. Same bartender then? Forget about it. Service was non existent. Once again, when I DID actually have her attention, she was nice but that was few and far between. I would say she's new but to be working on Alabama game day/night at a sports bar, I can't imagine you'd schedule a newbie but you never know? Food was pretty good both times and prices aren't bad at all. That's really why I came back. The value for the experience with the consumables. All they need is to have bartenders that are in top of it, you have a REAL winner here. Food: shrimp atchafalya and next day was the sirloin. I used to grace another seafood spot in Tuscaloosa but had to change because the bar was not as good anymore, and the gumbo here at Walk-On's was much better. I love the alligator on the appetizer menu. It is always delicious and especially paired with the gumbo. My two favorite entrees have been the Redfish Rudy and the Catfish Atchafalaya, both blackened, delicious, and highly flavorable. The service is always excellent, and I never had any issues with waiting. I usually sit at the bar, and the cocktails and the bartender make the visit enjoyable. Walk-Ons has become one of my favorite new spots when I want some excellent seasoned seafood.
