Food aside (and don’t get me wrong that the food is fantastic here, especially love the breakfast sandwich that you can sub avocado in for instead of bacon), I want to commend the owners and operators for the kind of environment they have created. While I was waiting on my order, I noticed in the back that they had several employees that were working that appeared to be adults with special needs. I cannot stress enough how good this place is, the breads and bagels are easily some of the best in the Bay, the cafe menu is fresh, seasonal and always on point. The space is beautiful, you can tell that someone spent so much time and care building it out and creating a fun, family friendly yet hip atmosphere. Finally the staff and ownership are just some of the coolest people in town and pillars of the community. The atmosphere exposed the owner broken morality. I prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Answering for the comments below: I’ve been dining in and out with you guys (not sure who is answering) since you started in the farm market, then once you opened the store (before the extension).
