I’ve heard a lot of hype about this restaurant and the chef/owner Ann Kim, but Yung Joni lived up to the expectations. Their pizza flavors were quite unique and well executed with ingredients that complemented each other well. We got the Basque, Korean BBQ Pizza, and the Smashed Parsnips. I recommend all three. I also liked that the location of the restaurant is in a low key area. The atmosphere and interior design also stood out. It had an intimate yet spacious feeling. We really enjoyed dinner at Young Joni’s for our daughter’s birthday. The entree’s were very good as well as the pizza’s. Savanna was nice and helpful with the wine suggestion but admitted to not knowing much about the cocktails. The atmosphere is very inviting with lower light and lively activity. We will be back!

What a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion or for that long overdue date night. We order numerous items to sample and share and it did not disappoint. Appetizers are and dishes are a little elevated, but that is to be expected when you get to experience flavor profiles that are unique. Make sure to try one of their many delicious pizzas as they do have a specialty oven just for them. Service was outstanding and they evenly spaced out dishes so as to not lag between apps and main dishes. There is also a mandatory service fee which supports the staff so we were more than happy to pay. Note what this means is that they are a tip free establishment so your final bill is your bill. Make reservations in advance for a non-waiting experience as they are super busy.
