My favorite bakery in Portland. The raisin croissant is a must. Not something I thought I would ever type. The owner is wonderful, I can’t recommend this place enough. Recommended dishes Croissant

So glad an amazing bread bakery opened one block from my apartment. My partner is celiac and there is absolutely no gluten inside the house. I have been known to make sweet&sour cabbage soup and then run down to the bakery to buy a fresh (and still warm) baguette to enjoy with it while I sit on the front stoop. Incredible croissants (all of them). The challah, focaccia, sourdough, and rye are great too. ( I just now realized how often I go). I used to make my own sourdough breads but obviously had to give them up when I fell in love with my partner. Barack said if that ever changed, he would get me some sourdough starter.
