Recently was in OCNJ for some much needed vacation time. Was told to try out 16th street seafood and we ended up ordering takeout from there twice! Prices are very reasonable in my book, food was good and plentiful and staff was welcoming and friendly. Why are you still reading this, go and order food!! Amazing. I order from here all the time. The broiled crab cakes are awesome. So is the shrimp and crab bisque. I get the lobster bisque as well. I enjoy it. The lobster is cut w imitation but it’s only $10 so I’d assume it’s got a little fake lobster in there because it’s got more “meat” than most. Hasn’t stopped me from ordering it at least 15 times. Found this place in our guide book. Called to order as this place has very minimal outdoor seating so we got take out. Prices were very reasonable. There is a wait as 5his is a popular place. We were told 20 minutes but it ended up being 45. We got a broiled jumbo platter, jumbo fried platter, some sort of soup, and a shrimp and scallop meal. The seafood was very good, soup was ok but not something I would get again. However they do not put in silverware or salt and pepper in the bag so eating was difficult.
