Ahead of Wolfpack vs Bridgeport Islanders my wife, adult son and I had the pleasure of dining at 29 Markle. When in Bridgeport it is the place to eat—super attentive friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and superlative food—both in the wonderful blend of spice and smoke and in appropriate well presented portions. Also the well designed cocktails were a delicious opening to the meal. The attention to detail—including the Chef taking time to check with each table to see that the meal is to the patron’s liking—was awesome! Will go back and heartily recommend! Before even entering the place you get this rich smokey essence. Just amazing.. cute, quaint, romantic atmosphere. We had the scallops and risotto to start, spare ribs w/potato puree and the halibut with charred corn. The risotto was the best I’ve ever had. Took everything in me not to lick the plate. The fish with the roasted corn.. omg to die for. The braised short ribs.. just wow. SO FLAVORFUL.. The cocktails were superb. Can’t say enough great things about this place ❤️ We WILL definitely be back! What a gem Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
