Was the worst food I done ever ate ‼️the fish wasn’t nothing but crumbs and small as ever and the sides garbage,they give you a portion of food for newborns And these lil old rude workers I don’t not recommend this place to nobody then got the nerve to charge $10.99 and it don’t come with nothing to drink 3 Star Restaurant I’ll never eat from here again Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I was visiting in Mississippi, So this place was suggested to me. We couldn't even finish the food. The catfish was not seasoned, and you can tell the grease/oil needed to be changed. The fish was way too dark. The portions were small, and the sweet potato fries were undercooked . I was very disappointed and dissatisfied. I hate that we wasted $50 on 3 plates that were barely edible. The only way to eat the little bit that i did eat was to drown it in sauces. But that hardly helped. I can say the frog legs were ok. But the rest of the food, if i lived there i would have definitely asked for my money back! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Fried chicken wings were great! Had to wait for them, but fresh out of the fryer along with the fries and just the right coating. My husband had the chef salad, also excellent. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Probably the best home town diner I have been too in quite some time. The patrons and the staff were so very genuinely friendly and the food was warm and tasty. I really enjoyed myself.

Oh so good! My husband had the fried porkchop, lima beans, squash and they we're all cooked perfectly, tender and fresh! I had the salad with ham, chicken, egg and bacon and it was also fresh and tender, in fact, better than any chain restaurants. Bless the hands that prepared and served us. The staff was wonderful, inviting and attentive and super clean. I appreciate that they clean not just the tables but the whole booth after customers leave. I highly recommend!

This little restaurant has blossomed into something really special! Mathiston is where I spend my weekends, so I eat here a lot, often with my grown sons. 3 Star offers a buffet, and you'd be crazy not to try their fried chicken and purple hull peas. But their menu hasn't disappointed me yet, either, and I particularly like their fish dishes. You just can't go wrong here.
