Me and the family went up to Värmskogs Cafe with their hand-picked staff spontaneous just to get away and eat some of the famous and delicious hand-picked shrimp sandwiches. Nowadays more of a yearly summer tradition 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 100–200

Värmskogs Café is like a pearl in the desert. Rarely does one expect to find such a gem at such a place. At the pitoresque café, which is a part of local history, you will find both baked goods as well as the real crowd pleaser the XL shrimp sandwich that holds 300 grams of hand peel shrimps, lettuce, 2 eggs, mayonaise and two slices of cucumber. The location is open during summers and there are constantly people going in and out of the café. If you're passing by, then this is a place worth spending some time at.

Awesome place - and people know it. It actually feels a bit like people pan they day trip to visit this cafe! Prices are good, service is friendly and the location great (especially when you're doing a canoe tour on varmeln like we did)

Cute little café right next to the Borgvik Lake. Famous for it's huge and priceworthy shrimp sandwiches but the sweets are also delicious. Don't be put off by the long lines as they tend to move quickly. Worth a detour!

Their shrimp sandwich lived up to the reputation; 150 grams of delicious shrimp (XL version with 300g shrimp available!). Pastries were really good as well, best meringue cake I've had. Surroundings are beautiful and seats are close to the water.
