Server waitress was awesome. No problems there. But the food..... Horrible. Steak was like a hockey puck. The patties on my burger were very over cooked, charred, and small. I'd get more eating a McDouble. Need new and better cooks. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Tatum was our server. There were supposed to be 2 tickets and my mom decided she was not letting me pay for her dinner. So when the check came and we gave Tatum our card and my mom gave $35 to cover her meal. Tatum was like oh no worries I gotcha covered. I'll take care of fixing the ticket so that my mom's food was on a separate ticket. Tatum pocketed the $35 and didn't separate the checks. As a result my husband decided not to leave a tip. We have tipped up to 50% on a check before just because the waitress was awesome. In this case, I'll make sure if we decided to eat here again that Tatum is NOT our waitress. We had the lunch special cheeseburger which came with frys. My wife and I split the burger, the price was $9.95, it was plenty for the two of us and a pretty good burger. While in the restaurant we noticed the daily drink specials, we didn't partake but they seem like something we will remember for the future. I was impressed with our waitress and left her a larger than normal tip. Haven't been to an Applebee's in years but I will try them again.
